Rich Harris

Richard has worked as a sports writer/editor/scout/analyst since 1998. He has been credentialed for a variety of special events and games by the NBA, the NFL, the G League, and numerous college athletic programs and conferences. He has contributed to various magazines, radio shows, and a number of other sites, including ESPN.com, SI.com, and USAToday.com. Richard is the former CEO of FantasyFootballExperts.com and a former member of the Pro Football Writers of America (PFWA). An active member of the US Basketball Writers Association (USBWA), Rich is currently the Managing Director at HoopsProspects.com, a site that specializes in evaluating potential pro basketball talent. Cam Riehl

Cameron “Cam” Riehl is a Senior Analyst at HoopsProspects.com, specializing in the NBA and the NBA Draft. 

Riehl joined the HP team in 2022 as an audio editor and producer for the Hoops Prospects Podcast, but has since expanded into many different roles. He now co-hosts the podcast as well as writes and produces the “NBA Notebook” segment of the show. In addition to his contributions to the podcast, Riehl is also a writer. He has regularly written and contributed to a variety of articles, including scouting reports, the NBA Fearless Forecast, and NBA draft grades. 

Riehl has a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Tennessee, and in his daily life, works as a middle school teacher in Denver, Colorado. In the future, he hopes to continue to build a career in basketball.

Drew Barton

Drew is a Bay Area native who has always had a strong connection to athletics. He attended Junipero Serra High School, one of the premier athletic programs in Northern California. He then graduated with a degree in Communications & Rhetoric Studies from the University of San Francisco in 2018 and returned to USF in 2020 for his Masters Degree in Sports Management. Since then, he has worked in sports with a variety of roles, including sportswriting and scouting. At the collegiate level, Drew served as a Film & Recruiting Assistant with Stanford Football during the 2022 season, when he worked closely with the Director of Operations. Most recently, Drew has worked in a hybrid role at Menlo College, as both the Director of Sports Information and Men's Basketball Operations. At Menlo, he is responsible for filming, editing & disseminating all of the programs’ needs in relation to practice, opposing team scouting reports and recruiting media.

Hugh Baxter

Before moving on to scouting and coaching for the Milwaukee Bucks (and now with the Phoenix Suns), Hugh was an analyst for Hoops Prospects. A Melbourne, Australia native, Hugh finished his college career playing at Point Loma Nazarene University, which followed stints at Colgate University and UC San Diego. He was a part of three March Madness tournament teams winning championships with all three programs and was a member of the All Big West Academic team.

Jake Copestick

Jake is a graduate from the Temple University School of Sport, Tourism, and Hospitality Management, and he currently works for the Temple Athletic Department.  He is one of the founders of the Big 5 Podcast, and also contributes to Hoops Prospects, mainly as a college basketball analyst.

Takashi Williams

Takashi is a rising senior at Columbia University. He serves as a beat writer for the Columbia Daily Spectator, covering the Columbia men's and women's basketball teams, along with general Ivy League basketball coverage as well.

Zach Wilhelm

Zach is a hoop enthusiast who loves to watch, play, write and talk about basketball. He is currently earning a Masters' of Arts in Sports Management at the University of San Francisco, with the hopes of working full time in sports. In his spare time, he enjoys playing sports, camping and surfing with his 9-year-old son, Ben. He joined Hoops Prospects in August 2023 and has worked on managing the HP YouTube page, editing videos, writing scouting reports and conferences previews, and more.
